The challenge

Growth had outrun the way the team worked.

Every new customer meant more spreadsheets and more phone calls. Dispatchers re-entered the same information three times, drivers got updates late, and nobody could see the full picture of a day in one place.

The approach

We started with the dispatch room and the cabs, not the software.

We spent two weeks shadowing dispatchers and riding with drivers, then mapped how a job really moves from order to delivery. A clickable prototype was tested with both groups before any code was written. The first release covered only planning and driver updates, and we added the rest in steps.

The results

A platform both dispatchers and drivers choose to use.

  • →Route planning time fell by 38%
  • →Each dispatcher now handles twice as many deliveries
  • →Nine in ten drivers were active within the first month
  • →Customer status calls dropped by more than half
“They asked to ride with our drivers before drawing a single screen. That is why people use it.”
