Alma Studio

Alma Studio had twenty years of residential work and a website from a decade ago. New clients kept saying the work was better than it looked online.

Sample case study. The content will be replaced.

The challenge

The portfolio was strong. The first impression was not.

The old site was slow, hard to update and made every project look the same. The studio had no written positioning, so every pitch was told differently depending on who was in the room.

The approach

Define the brand first, then let the website carry it.

Workshops with the partners produced a clear positioning and tone of voice. We then designed a quiet, photography-led identity and built a bilingual site with a simple editing system, so the team can publish a new project in minutes.

The results

A studio that now looks like the work it does.

  • →Website enquiries tripled within three months
  • →Pages load in about a second on mobile
  • →New projects are published by the team, without help
  • →One set of brand guidelines used across site, proposals and print
“For the first time, the way we present ourselves matches the way we build.”
